week 13

‘Office’ by Clemence Seilles ‘Office’ is the modern world we know, made of artificial, and recomposed industrial materials. A standard of furniture and objects very much familiar to us, more than normal, a dismal uninspiring set . As much as it is well defined is its typology (office-space), the human activity to be accomplished stays abstract and obscure to us. Office is a prologue to the next week installation, Post-office, an inspired proposition of an active environment, build from the scraps of the Modern world.

James by llot llov
With ‘James’, llot llov has designed a true servant with the ability to be set up in any given place. The small, three-legged table is connected through a riveted joint. There is no need for a tabletop as a single plate is turned into an individual tray within the twinkling of an eye. Plate, bowl or vase, are transformed into objects hovering in space.  The wooden sticks keep everything in balance while the rubber-topped tips diminish the danger of sliding crockery. If you like having your snack in bed, in the garden or sitting on the floor you will find that ‘James’ is your true partner. After use, the effective butler is stored without effort, folding easily back into a handy format.
Material: ash wood, synthetic rubber, steel
Colour: white, nature
Included: only tripod (without plate)
Height: 52 cm, Diameter: 46 cm
Production: 100 % hand made in Germany
Price: 69€
